*****CHECK BACK HERE TONIGHT FOR RESULTS*****

Gay marriage was put to a vote in Maine on Tuesday in a closely watched referendum that gay-rights activists across the country hoped would prove that public opinion is turning in their favor. Turnout has been higher than expected, which analysts say favors supporters of same-sex marriage.

Let us hope that Progressives got off their ass's and voted. It is a shame that people are voting for someone else's civil rights. Gay Marriage should be legal and no one should be voting on someone else's marriage.

I see all the supposedly random conservative posters here have been suspiciously called away.

Hmmm, getting orders on how to spin ALL the voting results. They'll be back tomorrow I'm sure.

I wonder if a bunch of Mormons moved to maine so they could fix this election too. Like in California. One day homosexuals might get the same treatment as African Americans.Homosexuals keep up the good work .For every gay guy helps my odds increase with the ladies.

Homosexuality is a lifestyle choice and a perversion! It should be outlawed like child molestation and bestiality as they're all in the same grotesque category.

But will my taxes go up ?

Will the silly health "care" bill be forced down out throats?

Will my electric bill go up ?

Will card check be passed?

Will MORE unions take over the country?

Will this country become a Socialist regime ?

THESE are the things I am TRULY worried about !

Two gay people getting married effects MY life in NO way !

We have MUCH bigger issues to deal with in this country then worrying

about if two girls are sleeping together and want to get married !

Now bring on the thumbs downs ! -----------

:-)

LOL

I could give a big crap if your gay or not, but you do not deserve special rights or laws. STFU and be gay, just dont shove your agenda down our throats....so to speak.

All marriage are Civil Marriages, which is different than church doctrine.

* If you get married in a church, you still have to get a civil license first
* if you get married by Elvis, it may be the little chapel, no religious affiliation and just as legal
* people who are not "socially accepted" get married all the time.
* no matter that the Civil Rights Act passed, it didn't stop people from mainting their own prejudice - it only meant they couldn't hurt others with it.

From a civil perspective the point is moot and being debated in a religious content, while it's a matter of civil liberty.

The Gay Life Style is a Choice, like any sin. In 1 Corinthians 6:11 it clearly states their Future.
Its really sad 'The Lake of Fire' is going to be so Crowded !
