The Tea Party movement itself has been co-opted, and not by the GOP, but by White Supremacists.
Here's proof from the Google cache (which has since been scrubbed) that the Supremicists and secessionists at Stormfront have actively been trying to take over the Tea Party Movement:

In this case, Karen, I have it straight from the horse's(behind's) mouths. The links I provided show material taken straight from webshots of the website of StormFront, the leading white supremacist website, which deatils their palns to coopt the movement and found their new political party -- and from what we're seeing "on the ground", it's working.. and for the record, I get out quite a lot.
