Canada plans Afghan withdrawal (AP)

Figures they'd do something like that. Canada has nice girls and great beer. But when it comes to military force they are lacking.

Good move. Europe and the others need to follow suit and leave the US alone to deal with its invasions and wars it keeps instigating. Let American soldiers get shot and blown to bits in the name of American imperialism, not ours.

All troops should withdraw from Afghanistan. There is no defined objective in being there, and Obama does not support our troops who are in harm's way. Do you realize that the number of troops we have committed to Obama's war would not even fill up an average football stadium in the U.S. on a Saturday afternoon. Get real.

Canada sucks! I never used to think that but this is too much! What the heck good is NATO anyways? America had every reason and right to go after Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan or even Pakistan (Not Iraq Though!) NATO allies are SUPPOSED to be there for even of us that are attacked! Boycott Canadian tourism and the whole nine yards! They don't want to stand behind NATO, so we should hurt them in their pocket wherever we can for this outrage!

Can anyone really tell me why the US is still there? We're dumping loads of money into a country we dumped loads of money into during the 80's. We're trying to give them "infrastructure" when they haven't had "infrastructure" since the time of Tammer the Lame. Is there really anything in Afghanistan that we need to do that can't be done with a Stealth bomber launched from the United States?

An Afghan official is quoted as saying," Thank God we don't have to listen to Celine Dion sing that f---ing "Titanic" song anymore".

Afghan Failure Is Unacceptable
The Taliban is an international threat and must not be allowed to win in Afghanistan. Forget about US prestige at losing to the Taliban, the threat of the Afghanistan again serving as a platform for terrorist training & or the Opium trade funding of terrorism worldwide. Consider for a moment their recent push toward the Pakistan Capital right next door to Afghanistan and the fact that Pakistan has an estimated 20-50 nuclear weapons.
The risk a Taliban win in Afghanistan poses from a near term risk of their taking over Nuclear Armed Pakistan is unthinkable. President Obama, NATO, Russia, China and the rest of the world must join the fight and fight to win in Afghanistan or risk a nightmare scenario of a nuclear armed Taliban.

Perhaps Obama can get Canada to stay! Perhaps a trip to our allies in the north would be better time spend than on health care.
