holy cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! life is way too short....
He was a great quarterback to watch throught the seasons he played. He will be missed.. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

One my favorite all time NFL players. This is really sad.

ps he was the real MVP of that Superbowl against the Rams. Kurt Warner played a great game too, but if you go back and watch that game McNair played that second half like it was his last game.

what kind of shooting accident. what the hell happened. talk about giving half a story. sorry to hear it happened to him, can 't imagine it having to do with any crime though, he seemed like to good of a person.

I'm a Steelers fan...and Steve McNair would kill us..but he was definately one my fav. football players of all time. I just saw him on Joes vs Pros the other night..crazy!!!! It's still F up how the Titans treated him towards the end of his career.

This was one of the toughest football players of the modern era. Steve was also well known for his charitable work and his demeanor on and off the field. In a world that can produce bad attitudes and horrible personalities such as Dante Stallworth it was nice to see that there were still quality people like Steve in sports. I will always remember the way Steve played the game and was very shocked to hear this news. RIP Steve you toughness on the field and kindness off the field will be remembered!
