Is it really? I never heard of that! Are you looking for wealthy men? I know a hot and interesting place named Billionairepal.com where I have met my boyfriend. You may take a look.
Wow, I'm shocked that Iverson is being all attitudinal about coming off the bench for a team that will probably be out of the playoffs in 4-5 weeks. We all just thought he'd just play hard and keep his mouth shut, based upon his history and all. He is typical of many of the NBA players. He would play on Friday and Saturday nights for $200 a game and some folks would pay $5 to go watch. Instead, he is getting paid the lowly amount of $3 million to sulk. I have an idea. Why don't we let Iverson go out and try to find a real job. He can't be a coach because he can't speak english well enough to deal with the media. He has a little bit of a record too. Sad, but funny.
can't give this guy a break!1 he is all about him and always was!! srry you got him, keep him!!
Don't be surprised that he is very upset. He is a competitor. All of them should be upset. The only reason they lost is because they let Martin throw up that ugly looking jumpshot. All they had to do was play defense on Martin and it would have been a shut down. The others feed off of him. They stood up watching him. Get on the key person and make him earn every shot he make. As for Iverson, I am glad he is on the team. He need to be an example to Mayo and Gay on how upset a leader should be. Guide those three young men (Maya, Gay, and Conley). Just like Jordan did Kobe and Robinson did Duncan. They have great potential. Now if they feel that they can't step up send them packing just like we did P Gasol. He was a role player forced to be a leader. If they read this, take this to heart and make the proper adjustments.
IF A.I HAD COME TO NYC, HE WOULDNT HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND WOULD HAVE FLOURISHED IN THIS SYSTEM. POUNDED FOR POUND A.I IS STILL THE BADDEST ON THE COURT CHECK THE RECORD IT SPEAKS IN VOLUME. IF HE'S TOO PROUD TO ACCEPT A CHECK FOR NOTHING SO BE IT.
I'm not the biggest AI fan..... but how on earth do you not start him over conley... conley is the worst "starting" point guard in the league, and isn't the reason you bring in Iverson to sell tickets and see what happens. Memphis is a horribly run organization with an inept head coach.
Who cares, it's the N.B.A., it's unwatchable, it sucks! When do the N.C.A.A. men's teams tip off? Can't wait! I need some real hoops....you know, the kind that doesn't have the fun ripped out of it!
Iversons benching most of the game and when they have a chance to win is the coaches decision. it would have been nice to see how a.i. would perform in those crucial minutes but caoch hollins didnt give him that chance. maybe next time. but these griz have some really interesting players. Mayo, Gay,Gasol,Conley,Iverson.. hope they put it together as the season moves along.. coaching staff needs to do a better job of bringing out the best of their players. if the guys a scorer, put him in a situation where he can score. if he's a passer, provide that oppurtunity. their interior defense is very good. the perimeter needs alot of work, cant also deny that martin just played really well.
Good luck guys..
wow iverson pissed off and complaining about his playing time? surprise surprise he was a cancer in detroit now he will be a cancer where ever he goes. He was a great player in philly but if you cant put up the numbers than you will be sitting on the bench. Its doesnt go by what kind of player you where 5+ years ago it goes by how you produce now. He is just a damn crybaby
What a selfish person!!!! AI is all about himself -- that is why no other team would sign him. What a jerk -- it is not about winning -- it is all about himself.
AI does have a point. For all intents and purposes, he should be given his starting job. Not that Mayo and Conly are not playing well but AI is much much capable of surpassing their contribution if given the starting position. He may be selfish to some extent but that's the way he is, he is effective in his role of being selfish. We can say the same to MJ, couldn't we? Therefore, it applies also to AI. I'm not his biggest fan but his coach is not bringing out the best in AI.
You guys are way off base. If you had actually watch the game ur comments would make more sense. Would you bench Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Dirk or Duncan? No superstar wants to be benched and its not productive to your team. Iverson played 17 minutes of a 48 minute game. No wonder they lost. What sense does that make? Why you sign him if you gonna bench him? He scored 11 points in the short time he was on the floor and was the only one who could defend Martin who put up over 30 points against Mayo. How is he gonna gel with the other players if you don't play him? How can he help you win if you don't play him?
All the guys you mentioned can still play (and at a high level). He's not a superstar anymore. This isn't 2001 or even 2006.
All he is now is a low % chucker (a turnstile on D as well) that quit last year and not somebody you should want around to "mentor" young players.
He just doesn't get it.
Ben Gordon is already doing exactly what Pistons fans had hoped AI could do last year.
